Monochrome and Me: Downtown Oklahoma City

Hey you!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?  Sorry to be away for so long, but I want to assure you that my time spent away from the blogosphere has been very productive.  I’ve a learned a lot, much of which I’ll go into in future posts.

This past week I went on a bit of a photo walk through downtown Oklahoma City, having found myself enthralled by the wealth of skilled photographers who inhabit the world of Instagram.  I didn’t really get that much, since OKC was invaded by an army of menacing clouds, but I think what I did get was awesome.  Is it obvious I’m not one for modesty?

I really had fun, and learned that going on a photo walk with a particular subject in mind is a great way to be able to sharpen one’s skills in both shooting and editing.

Check out this week’s captures and let me know what you think.  While you’re viewing the gallery, I’d like you to answer a question: what are some of your favorite subjects to shoot during an outing?

Hey, thanks. I find people really challenging to photograph. Great subjects, though, definitely.
